How far Garbage’s visuals have come since their early days in the ’90s, when singer Shirley Manson was paraded in front of the camera like a sweet treat for the male gaze.
The photographer claims the band was asking to use his photos without compensation.

Super-producer and Garbage musician, Butch Vig, joined Kevin & Bean this morning to talk about his upcoming documentary dedicated to his Madison, Wisconsin recording studio, Smart Studios, new Garbage music, and he weighed in on the new Black Keys track, “Fever.”
The studio closed its doors in 2010, and filmmaker Wendy Schneider began piecing together a documentary film on the history of Smart Studios, entitled, The Smart Studios Story.
