From Cornell’s tweets, we can gather the Grohl-directed “By Crooked Steps” video takes place, at least in part, in a biker bar where Sons Of Anarchy-style leather jackets and motorcycle helmets set the tone for this scene.
Although it’s been sixteen years since Soundgarden released a new album, their new material is as heavy and creepy as ever. And the band seem extremely enthused about their new music; dedicating 70% of their set to songs from King Animal, due out today (November 13).
Tomorrow, Soundgarden release King Animal, their first album in sixteen years. Tonight (November 12), you can see them perform live from the stage of the Ed Sullivan Theater, home of The Late Show With David Letterman.
When Soundgarden said they were coming back, they meant it. The band has lined up a special “Live On Letterman” webcast for next week, as well as announcing a slew of 2013 tour dates, including two-night stands in Chicago, L.A. and Seattle.
Soundgarden continues to tease fans with tracks from their upcoming new album, the band’s first in 16 years. This fiery new track sounds like one big mosh-pit just waiting to happen.
Just hours before Soundgarden drops their new new album, the Seattle foursome will take the stage to treat online viewers worldwide to a webcast featuring fan favorites as well as tracks from King Animal.

King Animal is said to have “a lot of layers to it. It’s something that will take time for people to kind of digest,” says frontman Chris Cornell in an interview with Miles the DJ on San Francisco’s Live 105.
