It’s the 20th anniversary of The Offspring’s album, Smash. The album from the Southern California-based punk band came out in 1994 and “was, at the time, the best-selling album ever released on an independent label.”
For their fourth release, the band demoed around 28 songs in a new home studio, paring them down to 11 tracks that run a taut 38 minutes of what they’re calling “unapologetic heavy rock.”
