The Red List Group put together a fun day of racing and show-quality trucks under the sun at Irwindale Speedway this past Sunday.
Truck owners rolled in from as far away as Bakersfield and Indio for a chance to race their beasts head-to-head on the track’s sanctioned eighth-mile dragstrip.
When four-wheel fans weren’t filling the stands watching the racing, there were plenty of lifted and lowered trucks to feast their eyes on. Several truck clubs rolled out in packs in hopes of taking home the trophy for club participation.
With many of the trucks and SVT Jeeps running relatively fast times, the crowd was blown away when a regular at the track rolled his Mustang fastback onto the track and stunned with two lightning-fast sub-six second runs… runs so fast not even the actual Ford Lightning could match.
