Week 11 of the NFL is upon us and we can only hope it lives up to the hype of week 10. There are a number of stat and data-based tools to help us untangle every match-up; who to choose and who to avoid. So far he’s 13-16 on the season; our go-to guy to get the picks is RJ Bell (@RJinVegas on Twitter). We gave a short recap but listen to the audio below to get the full breakdown!
Big Underdog: Ravens +7.5 over Cowboys
Dallas has covered 8 straight times. Imagine every time you bet on the Cowboys you double your money. That means everyone wants to bet on them which makes them an expensive team and in Vegas you don’t want to buy an expensive team. They also don’t have a great home field advantage. They’ve only won 3 of the last 11 home games. The ravens are rested and haven’t played a road game in nearly a month which will help them our tremendously. RJ likes the Ravens.
Best Bet: Redskins -2.5 over Packers
This might be a big surprise but Washington is the better team. They have the better stats and also more playmakers on the field while the packers have struggles with their run game. For years it’s been good times with the Packers but that hasn’t been the case this year. Over the past 5 seasons Green Bay is below .500 on the road and that continues. Washington also wants revenge for getting beat last year in the playoffs. RJ likes the Redskins in this game.
Big Game Special: Houston +6 over Raiders
This might be a surprise but RJ believes the Raiders are the most overrated team in the NFL because their close wins, their big win on national TV because people remember that. Oakland is off a bye this week & they’re traveling to Mexico for this game. Coming off a Bye the Raiders are only 2-13. Big game special this week is Houston +6.
