AFI And Green Day Join The KROQ Playlist

A Fire Inside, better known as AFI, released their debut album, Answer That and Stay Fashionable, in 1995 and have released eight more albums since, including 2013’s Burials. AFI (The Blood Album) is expected out in January and features the newest addition to the KROQ Playlist, “Snow Cats.”

Incredible as it may seem, the ageless Green Day released their debut album, 39/Smooth, in 1990. But it wasn’t until 1994’s Dookie, behind songs like “Longview,” “Welcome to Paradise,” and “Basket Case,” that Green Day achieved mainstream success. Since then, they have released a total of 12 albums selling more than 75 millions records, won 5 Grammy Awards, released a Broadway musical, and have been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. “Still Breathing” is off their latest album, Revolution Radio.
