Yellowcard – Yellowcard
The end is here. The self titled album is the band’s last which ends a career that travels back almost 20 years and 9 previous albums. The group, probably best known for 2003’s Ocean Avenue, have released two tracks off the farewell album, “The Hurt is Gone” & “Rest in Peace.”
They say goodbye to the O.C. Sat Oct 15th at the Observatory & adios to LA Tues Oct 18th at the Novo in front of a Sold-Out show.
From right here in the O.C. & LA, Banks returns with album two – hot off the success of her debut album, Goddess, featuring the smash “Beggin for Thread.” Singles “F*ck with Myself” & “Gemini Feed” set the tone for the newest album.
These hometown heroes began their legendary career from right in Venice, CA back in 1980 taking over the crossover thrash punk genre and firmly placing themselves at the top. To trail blaze their 12th album they released “Clap Like Ozzy” into the wild.
Speaking of Ozzy, the band just rocked Ozzfest Meets KnotFest at San Manuel Amphitheater last weekend. Singer Mike Muir has implied this could be the band’s last which would be the final chapter in a 36 year career.
Godsmack’s frontman releases his second solo album which trades in hard rock for full band blues and country twang.
The Boston alt-rockers release album six, album number two since they returned after a 13 year break. The band well known as an inspiration for many alternative rock acts have used “Talent” “Um Chagga Lagga” & “Tenement Song” as a preview of what’s to come.
The Grammy Award winning indie act releases album number three, this time experimenting a little further into the depths. The album has already opened to great reviews from Rolling Stone, NME and much more.
Singles “22 (OVER S∞∞N)” & “33 God” helped begin the adventure of this new journey for the group. They’ll be vising Saturday Oct 22nd in the O.C. at the Observatory for Beach Goth and then the next day, Oct 23rd, in LA at the Hollywood Bowl.
You know this Austin, TX band. They crafted the summer’s hottest soundtrack filled with 80s synth to the summer’s biggest hit show, Stranger Things. Now they release their second album of originals.
They’ll be performing a Sold Out Show at the Echoplex next Thursday, Oct 6th.
The English raw punk group get some help on their second album from The Beastie Boys’ Mike D who produces the album and appears on the track “Consume or Be Consumed.”

Originally from Dana Point (now residing in Costa Mesa), The Growlers continue to grow with the newest release – featuring the single title track produced by Julian Casablancas of The Strokes.
They’ve put on the annual Beach Goth Festival in the O.C. at the Observatory since 2012. This year features Bon Iver, Violent Femmes, TLC, Blaqk Audio, Justice, Future Islands, She Wants Revenge, Reel Big Fish, Albert Hammond Jr, and more!
The alt-rockers based here in Calabasas drop album four behind the hand of Paramore & All Time Low Producer, Mike Green. They’ve released “Spacin Out” “Freakin Me Out” & “Bad Thing” as singles so far.
They’ll headline the Rock N Roll Marathon Series here in Los Angeles Oct 30th!
