Back in August of last year I had the privilege, no the honor, of attending perhaps the greatest food and drink festival of all time. The geniuses over at L.A. Weekly put together a food and drink festival that emitted Americana. Well, they’re back to do it again this July.
L.A. Weekly’s Burgers and Beer is back at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, July 30th. The event is curated by L.A. Weekly’s food editor Garrett Snyder and their beer guru Sarah Bennett. Like last year’s perfectly crafted event, Snyder and Bennett have gathered Los Angeles’ best burgers and California’s best craft breweries.
As of today, the following restaurants will be in attendance serving their signature sliders: Alexander’s Steakhouse, Baltaire, Barrel & Ashes, Belcampo Meat Co., Biergarten LA, Button Mash, Charcoal Venice, Everson Royce Bar, Fritzi DTLA, Grill ‘Em All, Hache LA, Hodaddy Burger Bar, Little Tart, Lock & Key, Mo Better Burgers, Myke’s Café, Plan Check, Preux Proper, Scratch Bar & Kitchen, Sixth Street Tavern, Slater 50/50, Terrine, The Counter, The Rose, Unit 120, Vaka Burger Express and Venice Whaler.
As for the breweries, the following will be serving samples of their best beer: 101 Cider House, 21st Amendment Brewery, Ace Cider, Baja Brewing Company, Brewyard Beer Company, Dry River Brewing, Fireman’s Brew, Founders Brewing Co., Half-Pint Ciders, Hand-Brewed Beer, Indie Brewing Company, Lagunitas Brewing Co., Lucky Luke Brewing, Scholb Premium Ales, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Solarc Beer Co., State Brewing Company, The Brew Crew featuring: BCT Brewing Project, Delicious Science Brewing, Fox and Flora Brewing, Horror Brewing and Polymath Brewing, The Good Beer Company, Transplants Brewing Company and Venice Duck Brewery.
