Soundgarden fans now have the option to buy an incredible piece of fan-created history, Photofantasm Soundgarden: Nudedragons to King Animal, a book created by two die-hard fans that highlights the Seattle band’s rebirth via hundreds of pages’ worth of photographs, graphic art, anecdotes, interviews, and reviews.
Included in the book is an excerpt from a KROQ.com post written by our Music Director Lisa Worden about a surprise Soundgarden show she attended in 2010 at the Paramount Studios back lot.
“They kicked off their short set with one of my favorite Soundgarden songs, “Hands All Over.” It sounded incredible. It was like no time had passed at all. They then proceeded to belt out: “Spoonman,” “Rusty Cage,” “Burden in My Hand,” “Outshined,” “Black Hole Sun” and closed with their new song “Black Rain.” Not a lot of talking between songs but the guys seemed genuinely happy to be playing together again. Chris’ voice was outta control.”
The book is limited to 1,000 copies. Pick one up now at Photofantasm.com.
