After copious amounts of holiday cheer (read: booze and shrieking with joy), the 24th KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas is now over. For KROQ listeners, the show marks the beginning of the holiday season.

It’s almost like that first exciting reveal on Christmas morning. What will the show hold? Who will show up? This year, that anticipation was doubled because the extravagant show took place at a new venue that matched the gritty glamor of the event: the Shrine Auditorium.

It was also one of the best line-ups ever. Night 1 featured Kings of Leon, Vampire Weekend, Queens of the Stone Age, AFI, Arctic Monkeys, Cage the Elephant, Grouplove, New Politics, and FOALS.

Night 2 featured Arcade Fire, Phoenix, Lorde, The Neighbourhood, Capital Cities, Fitz and the Tantrums, Portugal. The Man, Bastille, and Atlas Genius.

Read our live blog for all the action that happened on Night 1 and Night 2.

Here are some the highlights from BOTH nights:

Miley Cyrus cruised by Night 1 to hang out with Grouplove, Cage the Elephant, and…Juliette Lewis?
