During last night’s KROQ Locals Only Show, Kat premiered the first track from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club‘s forthcoming album Specter At The Feast - a cover of The Call’s “Let The Day Begin,” which is also a KROQ classic.
This song holds a special meaning to BRMC, especially Robert Been. His father Michael Been, who was a member of The Call, passed away in 2010 due to heart attack while working as a sound engineer for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club while they were touring in Europe.
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is also set to open for Dave Grohl’s Sound City Players sold out concert being held at the Palladium on January 31st.
Download “Let The Day Begin” for free from BMRC’s website.
Specter At The Feast is due out March 19th.
