Stalwart L.A. indie rockers Airborne Toxic Event have released “Timeless,” the soaring first single from the band’s upcoming third full-length release, Such Hot Blood, due out this spring.
“There’s nothing like Nashville for starting new in music.” said the band in a statement regarding the new album, which was recorded in “Music City.”
“It gets in your blood, the rhythm of the place, the people. Making a record with Jacquire King at Blackbird Studios was the most challenging and all-encompassing experience we’ve ever had as a band,” he added, referencing the producer known for his previous work with such acts as Cold War Kids, Modest Mouse and Kings of Leon.
The long-awaited Such Hot Blood will be the band’s first album in almost two years, when they released All At Once back in April of 2011.
Airborne Toxic Event perform in New York (January 15-16) and Los Angeles (January 23) this month before embarking on a U.S. tour in March. The jaunt kicks off in San Diego, CA (March 30), hitting Denver, CO (April 4), Seattle, WA (April 8) and San Francisco, CA, (April 11).
