“Not at all,” admitted Bruno. “Most of the people around me, each song is their buffer zone. People that they try stuff out on, right? And all my friends that I respected artistically or musically…the all thought ‘Sail’ was this sort of big moment and I just thought it was another song…You never know. It’s hard to look in the mirror and really assess what is going to translate. What people can relate to and what they can’t. That song was an accident, the way it was written, and the lyrics came out sort of like the powers that be pushed it through me. It was a nice happy accident.”
