The power of the people is never more evident than on the Furious 5 at 9 every night.  Gone today are Passion Pit, Slightly Stoopid, and yesterday’s #1, Mumford and Sons. It just goes to show that this is the ultimate battle and the more you vote, the more likely you are to change the course of the countdown.

If there is a song or a band that you are loving, then vote! If you want them heard because you aren’t satisfied with the current rotation, then either pick up that phone and call us or tweet me your vote and watch your band reign supreme.

Yesterday it was Mumford and Sons fans who put in the most effort, but never to be outdone, EDM fans were like, “hoooooooold up! I don’t think so!” Never underestimate the passion of Joel Zimmerman, (the mau5), fans, especially after they have been joined by die-hard fans of My Chemical Romance.

I love that you all control the countdown and I am a firm believer that a little healthy competition never hurt anyone.
