Selling half a million copies of the single “Midnight City” isn’t all M83 frontman Anthony Gonzalez’ is up to these days. In addition to scoring an upcoming Tom Cruise sci-fi, the Hurry Up We’re Dreaming creator has been busy collaborating with Converse on a new shoe campaign. You can buy your $65 pair now via Converse.

According to Converse, they are looking for artists. Using M83-s Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming album and songs as inspiration, the creator of the famous Chuck Taylor sneakers wants your original drawings, paintings and photography. Up to three winners will be selected, with the winning artwork appearing on original M83 posters to be featured at the Central Park Summerstage on August 8, 2012. The posters will be ultimately be sold with proceeds going to charity. Winners will also receive a pair of customized M83 sneakers.

Converse will forward the art to M83, who will serve as the judges.
