Garret Reynolds continued his dominance in BMX Street, capturing his 5th gold medal in the 5 years of the street competition’s existence at X Games. Reynolds was forced to go all out on his final run, edging out youngster Chad Kerley who had previously been sitting in first with a score of 83.00.

“I did the same thing I’ve been doing every year, I just went out and did what I love to do,” said Reynolds.

In Women’s Skateboard Street, Alexis Sablone earned her 2nd X Games gold medal after starting her run off with a huge kickflip off the roof.

“I’m so relieved I can’t even tell you. Not even because I won, but because I get really nervous before these things. But it’s over and I did as well as I had hoped, so I’m pretty ecstatic,” Sablone said.
