Coachella Backstage Tour, Black Keys’ Soundcheck, Art Exhibitions And Ditching Security Guards

Kicking off today, the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California is pinnacle of spectacle. Covering every inch of a massive polo field, the festival boasts an incredible array of art exhibitions, food vendors, sound stages and installations designed to fully immerse the music fan. Goldenvoice, the festival organizer, prides itself on creating wonder and amazement.

Unfortunately, KROQ’s Kevin is a┬átroglodyte and cares little about the art experience. Leave it to him to go on a behind-the-scenes hunt with the goal of causing havoc. He once famously borrowed a motorcycle from a festival employee only to crash and fly over the handlebars.

Watch as he tries to catch a glimpse of The Black Keys’ sound check and gets man-handled by security.

  1. Jon says:

    That was actually very funny.

  2. Susan says:

Um. A Luddite is a person who hates manufacturing machinery and wants to return to the golden age before men were alienated from their work. In other words, a Luddite wants to make the car, cabinet, coach himself. Is Kevin a Luddite or a troglodyte who doesn’t appreciate art?

    1. Jay Tilles says:

I’m not a smart man either. Thanks for the correction.
