“Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue,” is the latest statement from Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Grohl directed to the wife of his late bandmate, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana.

According to Gawker, Courtney Love recently posted a tirade of tweets from her personal private Twitter account @cbabymichelle about the married Nirvana drummer flirting with her 19-year-old daughter with Cobain, Frances Bean Cobain.

The tweets were taken down, but thanks to the incriminating magic of the internet, they are archived for judgement and available to read here.

Love started off her Twitter rant with the statement “nothing cuts thru the sh*t like a gross old man macking on Kurt Cobains only child.”

The Hole singer then went on to say that Grohl is “sexually obsessed” with Kurt Cobain, that a driver verified that Grohl had his “hands all over” her daughter, that if Frances Bean slept with him that would be ok because Grohl is obsessed, and that Love is not mad at Frances Bean, saying “its dave that I’m going to kill.”

Grohl’s publicist, Steve Martin, wrote into Gawker with comments on their story and requested an update:

“What I want would be to have the headline changed to, say, “Crazy Woman Says Insane Shit No One In Their Right Mind Would Believe.”

Love has historically taken issue with Grohl on a number of matters, most recently expressing her anger that Nirvana track “Smells Like Teen Spirit” was used in The Muppets movie, saying: 

“We got no money from The Muppets, we got nothing. It made Jason Segel feel special, but Dave knows Kurt wouldn’t have wanted to be a Muppet.”
