Beginning with the very first KROQ Weenie Roast, ticket proceeds have gone to some charities that are important to us, and to you. This year is no exception.

Proceeds from the sale of every KROQ Weenie Roast Y Fiesta ticket go toward helping two amazing organizations, Heal the Bay and The Surfrider Foundation.

The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers in Malibu, California, the Surfrider Foundation now maintains over 60,000 members and 100 chapters worldwide. For more information on the Surfrider Foundation, surfrider.org.

Heal the Bay is making Southern California coastal waters and watersheds, including Santa Monica Bay, safe, healthy and clean. Heal the Bay uses science, education, community action and advocacy.

I ended up getting tickets very overpriced on eBay. Wish that next time there is some type of control for people who resell these tickets 2 or 3 times the price.

Anywho, I wanted to ask I have a canon camera (not pocket sized but not professional – no additional lense required) can I take that with me this Saturday ?

They do allow cameras in
& I completely AGREE about the tickets & resell of them! It’s not right when there are real fans like us who want to buy them to actually go to the show & not make an extra buck off a fan that wasn’t able to get them when on sale. I went on the second they were available the day of the pre-sale & still wasnt able to get just 2 tickets so I also had to buy them off someone but I used stubhub. Still double the original price
