With an enormous variety of eclectic pieces from over 100 different artists, this store definitely has something for everyone. And if you don’t find the exact piece you’re looking for, many of the artists will even go the extra mile to custom make something special just for you!

Handmade has been at its Sherman Oaks location for nearly 18 years, but new customers wander in every day, seeing it for the first time through excited and overwhelmed eyes. With so much to look at it’s hard to pick a starting point. It might be wise to start in one corner and work your way along the walls first, then peruse the center of the store just to make sure you don’t miss anything.

Each booth displays works from different artists and are comprised of many different materials – from leather to wood, gunpowder to gold and everything in between. Many pieces you find in this store are unique and in some cases numbered, so you are guaranteed to find something that is one-of-a-kind. You will also notice a wide variety of products including, but certainly not limited to: jewelry, candles, picture frames, vintage pieces, printed artwork, mosaics, scarves, books and tons more.

Exploring Handmade is like taking a journey through different cultures, styles, genres and even eras. For instance, you may find yourself checking out Dia De Los Muertos figurines one minute, and the next have your eye on a vintage sewing box circa 1950. Whatever your style, whatever your interest, you are more than likely to find something here that appeals to you. The prices are surprisingly reasonable as well especially for the quality of these products.
