So when Sluggo asked me what my all-time favorite KROQ songs are, at first I thought, “are you kidding me?” What an impossible question. Impossible mainly because the answers were endless.

However, I have a few KROQ songs that I have loved my entire life and these are the songs that I pledge an eternity of devotion to for no other reason than I absolutely love the way they make me feel.

Yes, they have been since we adopted them around 2000. Kevin & Bean went on the air and explain why we were going to play them. From then on, they’ve been in the KROQ universe.

I thought it was 2006 when they played Inland Invasion… Kinda of like how KROQ mostly avoided Metallica until they played Weenie Roast in ’99.
KROQ has hundreds of wonderful bands in their history… why you guys stooped to washed-up metal bands that haven’t released a good record in 20+ years is beyond me.
