This is the year of the 90’s bands! New music has emerged from some of your favorite 90’s bands, including [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Blink 182[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Incubus[/lastfm],[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”] Bush[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]311[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Foo Fighters[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Red Hot Chili Peppers[/lastfm] — and now add [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]The Mighty Mighty Bosstones [/lastfm]to the list!

The ska band recently released more information about their upcoming album, The Magic of Youth, which will be in stores December 6th!

Rumors of the band working on their next album surfaced in August, when trombonist Chris Rhodes posted on other band, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Spring Heeled Jack[/lastfm]’s Facebook page that the Bosstone boys and himself were “hard at work” on a new album.

The Magic of Youth will be their latest album since 2009’s, Pin Points and Gin Joints.  The new album will be produced by notable punk produced Ted Hutt, and will be released on their very own label, Big Rig Records.

I was so into this band for a minute back in the 90s. I’m glad to see bands from that decade releasing music because that was the last decade that good music existed on a grand scale in my opinion.
