Recently [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Tom Delonge[/lastfm] of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Blink-182[/lastfm] had announced on Facebook and Twitter his campaign for breast cancer awareness with Keep A Breast Foundation on the Honda Civic Tour with Blink-182 and My Chemical Romance.
Cancer has had a personal affect on Delonge as he was diagnosed with skin cancer last year. “All is good” according to the Blink front man, but as an effort to teach prevention and awareness to fans about this disease, he started this campaign in partnership with Keep A Breast called Boomer Loves Boobies. You will be able to meet Tom on the Honda Civic Tour when you purchase one of the two packages available.
You may be familiar with Boomer from the Blink-182 video for First Date.
Boomer (Tom), is offering two types of packages for purchase, if you just so happen to be attending the Honda Civic Tour. They each vary in price and what types of goodies and access you are granted. A portion of the purchase will be donated to Keep A Breast Foundation. This will give fans the opportunity to learn about prevention and how to catch it early as well as a chance to talk to Tom himself and ask any questions they desire and take some photos.
Here is a video of Tom explaining his campaign.
