Dr. Drew with Mike Starr

TMZ is reporting that Celebrity Rehab star and former Alice In Chains bassist Mike Starr has been found dead in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was 44 years old.

Dr. Drew, who treated Starr for heroin addiction on season 3 of Celebrity Rehab, tweeted this following the announcement:

Devastating to hear of Mike Starr succumbing to his illness. So very sad. Our prayers are with his family—

Starr had recently been picked up in Salt Lake City for felony possession of painkillers.
