I’m gonna tell you a quick story about a local Los Angeles band called [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Foster The People[/lastfm].

At some point, this band got together and recorded a song called “Pumped Up Kicks” and submitted it to Kat’s Locals Only show. It caused quite the buzz. Now KROQ’s spinning them in regular rotation. Fast forward and the band is prepped to release their debut EP January 18th. In addition, they’re playing two free shows at the Echo on the 19th and 26th!

The band also posted a great new track on their Facebook called “Helena.”
