When [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bad Religion[/lastfm]‘s lead signer Greg Graffin, bassist Jay Dee Bentley, and guitarist Brett W. Gurewitz rolled on the interview stage of the Gibson Amphitheater to catch up with Kevin & Bean around 6:45pm, their first reaction was to raise eyebrows and crack up at the sight of the crack-in-a-bottle beverages, Four Loko.

The crazy caffeinated, alcoholic beverages were lined up on the table in front of them (FYI: For the lil’ kids out there, fret not. Four Loko is not a sponsor of this event. KROQ does not recommend operating large vehicles, cameras, guitars, or any musical equipment – while under their influence. That said, they make damn good comedic stage props.)

Bad Religion, who has appeared countless times for KROQ, has essentially become “the unofficial house band of KROQ” in Kevin’s eyes. Retorted Graffin, “We are aiming to be the official house band.” Sweet.

The band, who just got off the longest tour of their career (they were on the road/plane/train from February till now), have been busy celebrating their 30th anniversary. (That’s right, 30 years folks. Since band years are kind of like dog years, it’s an *#)@*$*#! epic reason to get rowdy with them on stage tonight.) As for holiday plans? They’re taking off three months, but hinted at launching another tour in the near future.

To close the interview, Bean did not hesitate to ask the fan’s burning question: Will Bad Religion cover Fear’s “F**k Christmas” this year? (Based on a program questionnaire that fans have been asked to fill out at the door, there’s been ann over-whelming request from the fans (based on a), is We’ll have to wait and see: “We got in a bit of trouble for that last year.”

Regardless, when asked if they wanted to see the cover, crowd omitted an ear-splitting scream. KROQ.com is with the crowd consensus on this one: We say go for it.  Eventually, Kevin & Bean got to the point by saying, “Only you guys can pull it off.” Sit tight and cross your fingers for that cover tonight. We’ll be letting you know.
