[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Thirty Seconds To Mars[/lastfm] frontman Jared Leto called the video/short film for “Hurricane,” from their latest album This is War, a “meditation on the violence of sex and the sex of violence.”
In the 25 second trailer you see a woman in a rubber bunny suit, bondage scenes, motorcycle stunts, and masked women in sexy poses. If you haven’t seen this video yet check it out after the jump.
Having an actor in your band must really help when making videos, eh?
Leto had this to say about the video, which is said to be about 20 minutes in length:
“The video is a surrealistic dream, nightmare, fantasy through the streets of New York City at night where the people and places that are normally reserved for the darker recesses of this town are kind of brought into the light and celebrated. It’s like a big, giant art opening really where the freaks have taken over the town.”
Check out this video of them performing “Hurricane” at the MTV EMA’s this past weekend, including a surprise appearance from Kanye West.
