The Smokeout Festival, featuring tons of acts including [lastfm]Incubus[/lastfm], [lastfm]Cypress Hill[/lastfm], [lastfm]Deadmau5[/lastfm], [lastfm]Slightly Stoopid[/lastfm] and [lastfm]MGMT[/lastfm], is just around the corner and now the set times, parking and venue maps have been made available so you can plan out your day ahead of time.

Also, we’ll share with you the do’s and don’t's of the first-ever marijuana consumption area at a U.S. music festival. Yes, there is an area designated for all you smot pokers, but there are a few rules you’ll need to abide by to make sure this goes smoothly and can happen again.

Consumption Area Rules:

Check-in times for verification: 12pm-8pm
Consumption area closes at 10pm
Enter through special entrance by Gate 9 to get verified
Bring your prescription or medical marijuana ID card (I’d bring both if you have them)
Bring a valid ID (drivers license)
You can bring up to an eighth (3.5 grams) of marijuana buds only, NO OTHER FORMS ALLOWED (hash, concentrates, edibles, etc…)
No smoking paraphernalia (pipes, bongs, etc…) ROLL IT UP!
Do NOT sell or distribute
Smoke only in designated area
No alcohol or hard drugs allowed in consumption area
