If a band gets the chance to play on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, that band has made it. As is the case, [lastfm]The XX[/lastfm] hit the JKL stage last night to perform their hit single “Crystalised.”
The XX released their self-titled album late in 2009, but didn’t begin garnering attention, until one of their songs was used for the Winter Olympics commercials. Even more so, like many undiscovered music happens to end up on Gossip Girl, their song Crystalised was featured on an episode, and that’s when sh*t got serious for them.
Someone agree with me that the singer resembles [lastfm]Eminem[/lastfm]? He does, right?
