We’ve got a few more KROQ Locals Only Showcases headed your way in the near future, and if they’re anything like the last few, they’ll definitely be worth your while to go check out. The first show is on October 15th and features reggae bands [lastfm]The Aggrolites[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Subliminal Trip[/lastfm], while the second show on October 22nd features punk band The Darlings.

Throw in the fact that the shows are being held at one of our favorite spots, The Roxy, and you can’t help but assume these will be shows you don’t want to miss. Check out some of the best up and coming local acts, you’ll be surprised at what you find.

[lastfm]The Aggrolites[/lastfm] are a reggae band formed in LA in 2002 that have toured with some of the biggest names of their genre, including [lastfm]Slightly Stoopid[/lastfm]. They’ve done work with our good friend Tim Armstrong of [lastfm]Rancid[/lastfm] as well and put on a great show. They’ll be joined with [lastfm]Mandarico[/lastfm] and Subliminal Trip.

[lastfm]Subliminal Trip[/lastfm] were the winners of the Cabo Wabo “Your Shot To Rock” contest that we held earlier this year and came by Studio R to perform a few songs that were featured on our site.
