April Foolishness Spotlight: Joe Rogan
Joe Rogan is a comedian, actor, TV host, and UFC commentator. You’ve seen him on The Man Show, Fear Factor and Game Show In My Head. He’s not afraid to call out controversial comedians.
Did we mention that he could probably kick your ass too?

Rogan is known as a very outspoken person, whether he’s expressing his views on cannabis, comedic plagiarism or NASA’s faked moon landing. He is now banned from the Comedy Store here in Los Angeles after an incident where he filmed a bit for his internet reality show, Joe Show, and accused Carlos Mencia of stealing jokes. He also called out Denis Leary and Dane Cook. See some of his rants here.
Rogan has primarily had hosting duties on TV. He hosted the final season of The Man Show after Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla left. He also had roles on NBC’s comedy News Radio, where he played a resident electrician and hosted the hit show Fear Factor. He’s currently hosting CBS’ Game Show In My Head.
Rogan’s passion and most notable role is his color commentator spot for the UFC, which he’s been doing since 2002. He’s a highly decorated fighter, which many may not know. His blog’s bio states:
“Rogan’s passion for MMA began with martial arts practice at the age of 13. Within two years, the Boston native earned a black belt and soon became the Massachusetts full contact Tae Kwon Do champion four consecutive years. By the age of 19, Rogan won the US Open Tae Kwon Do Championship and as lightweight champion went on to beat both the middle and heavyweight title-holders to obtain the Grand Championship.”
Pretty f’n impressive if you ask me.
Make sure to catch Joe at Kevin & Bean’s April Foolishness on Saturday, April 3rd.
